Prices And Payment
The price for our website service is $75. This includes 36 content pages, 288 photos, 'Contact Us' page, and online service for 18 months. Each page may contain unlimited text and up to 8 photos. Please review our Services page for complete details.
Payment can be made by credit card (through Paypal, and you do not need a Paypal account), with your Paypal account, with a money order, or with a personal check. You will not have to pay when you order your website. We will send an invoice to your email, with a link to pay with your credit card, your paypal account, or instructions on where to mail your check or money order.
Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with your website service during the first 60 days from receipt of payment, we will refund your entire purchase price.
Content
We will not edit your content before posting it to your journal. Please check your text for misspelled words or grammatical errors, and create your paragraphs as you want them to appear on your pages. Please enclose text that you want highlighted in asterisks (**). There is no limit on the length of written content.
Privacy
We will not sell or give your information to anybody. We will not send advertisements to or spam your email address. We will not place advertisements on your web journal, except a small link to Littlehugs.com at the bottom of each page.
Emailing Files And Photographs
You may email your page entries and photos to us. Upon your order, we will supply you with an email address. Journal text may be written directly to the email, or may be included as a file attachment. Your photo files should be attached to the email. Please include your name, email address, date, and web page title when emailing files.
It may be necessary to have a Hotmail or Yahoo email account to access from your computer while you are in China. From our own experience, a Yahoo mail acccount worked best from China.
You may include eight photos for each page. They will be posted, including borders and captions, to the right, left, and below the text on each page. Your photos will be placed on your pages at the following approximate sizes:
- Horizontal Photos: Width-360px. Height-270px. approximately 5" wide, 3.75" tall.
- Vertical Photos: Width-270px. Height-360px. approximately 3.75" wide, 5" tall.
You may email your photos using the following method:
- Highlight the photos you want to send by left-clicking on them while you hold down the control button on your keyboard
- Right-click on your mouse, and a new window will pop-up.
- Scroll and choose "send to" from the pop-up box.
- Scroll and click on "mail recipient" from the next pop-up box.
- Make sure the "make all my pictures smaller" is chosen in the "send pictures via email" pop-up box.
- Click "ok" on the "send pictures via email" pop-up box.
- Outlook Express will start, and you can choose which email address you want to send your email from.
- Write your journal entry, then email it and your pictures to us.
You may also email photos as attachments in your emails containing your journal text.
Uploading Files
You may upload files directly to our server by accessing the personal file upload form that we will create for you when you order our service. Using this upload page will place your files directly into your web folder.
Please note that each uploaded photo must have a file size smaller than 1 mb., and journal text files must have a .doc or .txt file extension. The upload page will have eight spaces for photos, and one space for your journal text file. Uploading your files will not place them directly on your pages. We will do that whether you upload or email them. Uploading your files is optional; you may email them if you prefer. If you are unable to upload files with your personal upload form, please use our general upload form.
